It’s Alive!
The other day Ogre and I briefly chatted about bringing back some of our old sites. He’d like to bring more gaming info to his blog, but there’s no substitute for his old Through The Ages (TTA) fan site for Age of Empires.
The same is true for my fan site for RollerCoaster Tycoon, RCT Station. Well, I decided to bite the bullet and bring back one version of the site, believe it or not. It wasn’t the last version of the site before I shut it down, but it’s much more complete than the last version (the one with brown/tan design).
Without further ado, here is RCT Station.
It’s great to see the old site back. There are so many valuable resources there for fans of the old RCT1 game. A lot of the sound advice applies to RCT2 too.
Dear James;
Long ago, I was a member of a certain website. A website where I met many great people, learned many great things; and most of all, had a HELL of a lot of fun.
This website was Yours. RCT Station.
As usual, I was bored… and I had an idea. I google’d your old website, and I saw it was back up! In an archival state, yes; but up nonetheless.
To browse through the site again… To see so many coaster designs that I remember so fondly, parks I remember more dearly; Seeing names that I remembered instantly… Ogre, KaiBueno, Dingo, Steve Franks, Mike Robbins, Rob Tonto; along with many other people I had met.
James, for the wonderful time I had spent apart of that amazing community; I thank you!
