Summary

Hailing from Lincoln, Nebraska, Penny is an aspiring actress. But like many aspiring actresses, Penny is working as a waitress at the Cheesecake Factory.

Although Penny doesn't have a current boyfriend, her ex-boyfriend Kurt appears on occasion. His staying at their old apartment is why Penny had to take up residence in the apartment building Leonard and Sheldon live in.

Penny seems to get along with everyone but Sheldon. They always seem to clash. One of their points of contention has to deal with neatness. Sheldon is a neat freak and found Penny's apartment a total wreck.
